New Member Service - BusinessHR

09/04/2008

NASS is delighted to announce that we have negotiated a new, comprehensive website service for Members that will provide guidance on all HR matters.

BusinessHR’s website is easy to use and is available to you, as a NASS Member, at no cost (though the usual rate for this service is £360 per annum, per user).

The website, which has 75,000 users, will allow Members to access (downloadable) policies, documents and letters used in Human Resources, and guidance on how to manage staff easily, quickly and, at all times, within employment and discrimination law.  Additionally, Members will have access to online HR and Health & Safety risk assessments, as well as guidance on a range of day-to-day administrative issues like mobile phone policies and data protection.

Access to the website can be supplemented by a “pay as you go” telephone advice line, staffed by HR advisers with at least 10 years’ experience in industry and commerce.  The cost of the advice line is just £80 per hour (far less than a solicitor would charge) with all unused time saved for the next call.  If you do use this service, then BusinessHR’s experienced and friendly advisers will always confirm in an email the confidential and legally compliant advice that they give over the telephone.  BusinessHR’s advisers can also visit clients to undertake on-site work on all Human Resource matters, so this really does provide an extensive package for NASS Members.

Every Member has received a registration email direct from BusinessHR, to whom we have supplied contact details of the relevant personnel within each Member company.  There is also an access button on the homepage of NASS' website, at www.nass.org.uk  If you wish to change the name of the registered contact for your company, please let me know and I will co-ordinate the database update with BusinessHR.

We hope that Members will take advantage of this new service, and would be pleased to receive any comments you may have.
