Full Membership
To qualify for membership of NASS, applicants must be a steel stockholder/ processor/ profiler and have been established for at least two years.
Applicants must own their stock and be free to purchase steel from any source.
Although not an absolute requirement, minimum stock and sales levels have been set by each product group to reflect the above criteria and can be found on the application form for full membership of NASS.

Associate Membership
This category of membership is for suppliers of equipment, goods and services to the steel service centre industry and does give closer relationship to NASS’ steel service centre members, which may assist in the marketing of services to them. Associate members can take advantage of all of the services offered to Full members (apart from participating in the statistical service, although they do receive copies of credit lists and Business Trends reports) and appear in our List of Members and on our website.
NASS produces a variety of publications including a Newsletter, which is available to Associate Members as a very direct and cost-effective method of advertising to the service centre industry. The NASS Year Planner is an opportunities for Associate members to place advertisements. Additionally, Associate members are very welcome to attend the NASS Annual Steel Industry Dinner, which takes place in October each year at the National Motorcycle Museum, Nr. NEC.
